Rev. Margaret Minnicks is a native of Sussex County, Virginia. She has two children and three grandchildren.

Rev. Minnicks became a Licensed Minister in 1995 and an Ordained Minister of Christian Education in 1996. She is an Associate Minister at New Canaan Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. She graduated from Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA with a B.A. in English and Literature in 1968. Thirty years later in 1998, she graduated with an M.A. degree in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education and an M.Div. degree in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, VA.

Rev. Minnicks became Founder and Director of The Way of Life Spiritual Development Center, Richmond, VA in 1997 while still in seminary. The Way of Life is an educational ministry where the Word of God is taught in a structural environment. For 15 years, The Way of Life was in partnership with Oral Roberts University where Rev. Minnicks taught 22 credited course in Biblical Studies and Theology to ministers and those entering the ministry. From that Bible Institute, many students have ministers and pastors.

Rev. Minnicks in an online journalist and a curriculum writer for R.H. Boyd publishing company where she designs Sunday School books that are used all over the world.

Rev. Minnicks has been facilitating workshops, seminars, and retreats throughout the metropolitan area for over forty years. She is the author of several books, and she has an online spiritual E-Message Ministry where she sends out daily biblical-based inspiring devotionals to subscribers all over the world. She says that's her way of reaching the masses to spread God's word.

Rev. Minnicks knows her calling in life is teaching. She teaches with a passion and enthusiasm because she thoroughly believes and embraces what she teaches. She says she loves teaching so much because it is a learning experience for her as well as for her many students. She bases her educational ministry and everything she does on 2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that neededth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
